Fashion designer Daniel Lee, 32, the head of the luxury brand Bottega Veneta, this Friday at Fashion Week in Milan with a collection full of news and making a positive impact. The new creative director presented on the runway male and female looks in one of the most beautiful locations of the season, a transparent tent installed at the foot of the Peace Arch in the heart of the capital of Italian fashion.
Lee has experience with brands such as Margiela, Balenciaga, Donna Karan, Celine and has accepted the challenge of revolutionizing the brand, famous for its leather handbags and accessories. Founded in 1966 in Vicenza, in northern Veneto and bought in 2001 by the Gucci group, Bottega Veneta wanted to diversify its fashion production, famous for its timeless elegance, and now comes with everything to revitalize.
The stylist chose to keep the brand codes in a high-quality, elegant and sophisticated style but gave a modern touch through the bulky suits and coats - that bet on noble materials, especially fine leather.
Behind the scenes before the parade, the British, Daniel Lee did not disguise the ambition by saying: "I want to make this the most important fashion brand in the world," he said backstage just before the parade.
