They're real...and they're spectacular.

We don't blame you if you were too overwhelmed by all the beauty of Dior Men's latest runway show to notice it's most intricate details. Even we could hardly believe it when we were told that some of the collection's embroidery was made with actual feathers. Yes, you read that right. And we're wondering the same thing: how?

In Kim Jones's first run as artistic director of the French house, he collaborated with artist Janaïna Milheiro, who specializes in plumage textiles, prints, and wearables. This isn't Milheiro's first rodeo; she's the artist responsible for the technicolor feather wings in the 2016 Victoria's Secret runway show, the gold dress in Maison Margiela Couture's Fall 2017 show, and the floral feather headdresses in Valentino's Pre-Fall 2016 show. Talk about a glowing resume.
