It's been a long time since we heard from Jason Alexander, the childhood friend of Britney Spears, who briefly—like 55 hours briefly—married the "Oops I Did It Again" singer in 2004. While he was briefly recently spotted at a #FreeBritney protest earlier this year (for those unaware Spears has long been in a conservatorship battle with her father, Alexander has recently made headlines for less positive reasons.

According to Britney Hiatus—a fan site dedicated to Spears—Alexander was part of yesterday's sedition on Washington, in which a group of domestic terrorists broke into the U.S. Capitol, taking over Congress.

The news credits a Facebook post by a family member of Alexander, who wrote "I'm...processing the fact that my dumbass cousin (who also married Britney Spears for 55 hours) is on Capitol Hill. I'm really related to a domestic terrorist."

While 82 arrests were made from yesterday's violent siege, the names of the mob members have not officially been released.
