After his debut last season, creative director Daniel Lee is ready to bring more hits. “Spring 2020 is about the codes we are building at Bottega Veneta. Our focus is on process and clarity; immediate and direct,” said the designer. For next season, the brand is focusing on warmth, desire, happiness, and celebration. A high reality to live.
Contemporary and fresh, the new Bottega Veneta offers a wardrobe for a woman who knows exactly what she wants. Knit dresses, jeans, and shirts have a minimalist tone with twisting drapes and proportions executed with precision. The asymmetrical cutouts showing a little skin on the shoulder or revealing a lap with a gold chain necklace give the collection a touch of sensuality.
The Colour Palette
While many designers are using a lot of spring tones, Lee chose neutrals like beige, brown and black, bringing some accents in red, orange, and blue.
The accessories radiated beauty and comfort, and the shoes and bags came in such luxurious shades as cobalt and emerald green, tangerine, and blue. The jewels deconstructed the silhouette, intertwining with lavish surfaces. Classicism contrasted with modernism in refined techniques: knot, weft, and knitting.
