It was one of the most anticipated moments of Milan Fashion Week. This Thursday, February 21, 2019, Fendi presented its collection autumn-winter 2019-2020, the latest imagined by Karl Lagerfeld , artistic director of the house in collaboration with Silvia Venturini Fendi for more than five decades. For the occasion, the brand paid a heartbreaking tribute to the missing designer, by broadcasting a sequence of the documentary Karl Lagerfeld is taking shape , directed by Loïc Prigent. In the extract, the designer remembers the outfit he wore on his first day in the Italian house, in 1965: " A Cerrutti hat, long hair, black glasses, a printed lavalier tie and a suit Norfolk, with French trousers in Scottish tweed and a bag, found in Milan ... "A parade event, or emotion was more than palpable.
