Actress, singer, dancer and producer Kat Graham is one of the most versatile young artists of the moment. Her most recent works include playing a part in the film The Poison Rose, alongside Morgan Freeman and John Travolta, and the role in How it Ends, alongside Forest Whitaker and Theo James, available on Netflix.
Graham is the first African-American to give voice to April O'Neil, a character in the Nickelodeon TV series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, released in September 2018. She is also the star of the film The Holiday Calendar, produced by Netflix, starring alongside Quincy Brown.
Among her upcoming films is Cut Throat City, directed by RZA. The cast also includes Terrence Howard, Eiza Gonzalez, and Wesley Snipes, and the plot is about a robbery in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. Graham is also a part of Mark Amin's film about the Civil War, Emperor, which soon will be shown on the big screens. Netflix's Operation Christmas Drop also is in the final stages of production.
Born in Geneva, Switzerland, Graham speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French, and Hebrew) and since 2013 is an important supporter of the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees). Besides, Kat is on the board of GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). She collaborated with The Water Project to finance the construction of drinking water wells for villages and schools in Africa and supported the non-profit organization Empower 54.
