CLA, which consists of shortening conjugated linoleic acids, is actually a double-bound polyunsaturated fat found naturally in the meat and milk of animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. However, more and more recently, it has been appearing in the form of a food supplement.

 

The reason behind is that it helps to burn fat quickly, and it is also known that CLA, consumed from food, reduces the risk of heart disease or cancer, strengthens the immune system and supports muscle development. Although the studies on humans are convincing in accelerating metabolism and playing a fat burner role, they were performed on obesity-prone individuals. For this reason, it is not correct to claim that CLA will have the same effects for everyone. As for how much it should be consumed, it is limited to 6 grams per day. Although it does not cause any health problems when taken from food, CLA as a dietary supplement can cause liver problems and inflammation in the body.
