This creamy and refreshing green tea drink from Japan is not only delicious, but also very healthy. It is packed with antioxidants, which is good for your resistance. This green powder has become so popular with us, you can find it in almost every supermarket.
But how do you make the perfect iced matcha latte? Here are 3 easy recipes to make your latte within 3 minutes. Just be careful, matcha is bitter, so make sure you stick to the right doses!

Iced Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
- 300 ml of whole milk
- Ice cubes
- 2 teaspoons light brown caster sugar
- 2 teaspoons of matcha powder (green tea powder), plus extra for topping
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into a bowl, add the sugar and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- Sift the matcha powder into another bowl.
- Pour a little bit of the sugar milk into the matcha and beat everything well with a small whisk.
- Pour the rest of the sugar milk into glasses full of ice cubes. Beat the matcha mixture well to create foam and pour it over the milk.
- Finally, sprinkle some matcha powder on top and serve.

Vegan Iced Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 75 ml of water
- 225 ml of vegetable milk
- Two good handfuls of ice cubes
Preparation:
- Boil the water and let it cool down until it is about 60 to 70 degrees, this takes about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, put the matcha powder, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a cup. Pour over the boiled water and mix.
- To beat the matcha really well, use a bamboo beater, but with a small whisk or fork you can also go a long way. Beat the tea until there are no more lumps in it and there is a nice foam layer on the matcha.
- Let the matcha tea cool down, this will take about 15 minutes in the fridge.
- Put the ice cubes and vegetable milk in a glass, pour the matcha over it and serve immediately.
