Paris Fashion Week Alexandre Mattiussi co-ed Spring Summer 2021 show turned out to be a national celebration of the French capital. "Paris is AMI's hometown, and an essential part of its DNA. For the Spring Summer 2021 collection, I really wanted to put Paris in the spotlight, its beauty, its energy. Showing our collection on the Seine, in the heart of Paris is somewhat symbolic", - told   Alexandre Mattiussi, creative director and founder of AMI. "I believe that a fashion show will always remain the most magical event to present a collection ... and this was a celebration of Paris and its inhabitants: a community in the broadest sense, that we wanted to involve in the show, among the models, in the public. AMI is anchored to real life: I wanted to underline the human need to be social, to meet and interact, with a message of hope".

For the first time the brand presented its collection during women's fashion week, leaving the PFW men's calendar. The défilé took place on the banks of the Seine, in the urban but also natural setting on the Ile Saint-Louis front. The collection emerges the interpretation of French streetwear, with effortless elegance. A wardrobe in which the utilitarian elements of the brand are well balanced together with the spontaneity of the clothes and some more eccentric hints. The men's and women's clothing have the same hues and colors of minimalism: white, black, navy blue, combined with pastel shades of sage green, lilac, pistachio, ecru and powder. A patriotic hymn from the French capital to spread a message of optimism and positivity.
