For the first time after COVID-19, Etro presented its Men's Spring/Summer 2021 and Women's Resort 2021 collections at the same time in a memorable meeting in the garden of the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan.
With a selected audience of approximately 80 guests and taking all necessary precautions, the event marked the moment as one of the first non-digital fashion events of the post-pandemic era.
Inspired by the world of travelling that is essentially rooted in its essence, Etro also paid homage to the signature Milanese location, portraying the different guests of an international hotel while they are checking in and out with their personalities, peculiars, and their diverse experiences and memories.
The colour palette dates back to the 80s, and female and male pieces were presented in a way that almost seemed genderless. Ecological fabrics were used, and all pieces were identified by the special BENETROESSERE label. Jeans and patchwork jackets were made with vintage clothes, while the shirts were made from eucalyptus threads, and the poles from a special fabric obtained by recycling plastic bottles. The models carrying folding bags and side bags represent the bohemian traveller and explorer of Etro.
