Paco Rabanne brings medieval magic to the Fall 2020 collection

Strength, femininity and a mixture of ancient traditions

Paco Rabanne's creative director, Julien Dossena, presented a powerful and inspiring autumn-winter collection. Bringing rococo and medieval references, he transformed and gathered all the elements in a coherent and modern collection, even talking so much about antiquity.

To the sound of clerical music, models wore well-structured pieces, as if they were female armor, metal hoods and dresses with handmade silver links, paraded through the Conciergerie Castle - former court of the French Revolution, where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned before go to the guillotine. Fringes, lace, leather, embroidery and white shirts contrasted with clearly ecclesiastical necklaces, all in medieval style.
