We return to 1966, to the fateful 'Twelve Dresses in Unwearable Materials', a radical collection for the French Maison that bears the name of Paco Rabanne. The first collection becomes the ideological epicenter for the Julien Dossena Spring Summer 2021 collection. Everything coexists with elegance and avant-garde, with an extreme remix of fabrics, shapes, prints and materials that become the new symbols of individualism. The heritage of the brand is perceived by the sparkling metallic and plastic geometric assemblages, but also by the animalier lingerie dresses and the famous 60s baby dolls. Layered outfits with elongated tailored jackets, sleeveless kintwear cardigans or mesh dressing gowns and metal plates. The two cardinal colors of the Maison, gold and silver, are renewed in an infinite dialgo that coexists over time, while jeweled dresses drape the woman's body with pomp and the trompe l'oeil technique. Inlays and hints of lace reconstruct the wardrobe designed by Julien Dossena, the absolute interpreter of our time, able to maintain a common thread with history and outline a powerful and contemporary femininity.
