Although the couple no longer have the title of the president and the first lady of the United States, being visited by Barack and Michelle Obama is a true honor. And for George and Amal Clooney it was no different. Before the couple even arrived at the residence of the actor and the lawyer on Lake Como in Italy, the region apparently experienced special preparations for the great moment.

The local gardeners worked only for the Clooneys, generating irritation of the neighbors, a plumber was called in at the last minute for a check in the pool and even the mayor of the city announced that while the Obamas were in the city it there would be an "exclusion zone", forbidding the approach of boats to George's residence.

But after such a rush, everything went well! The Obamas stayed in the house from Saturday to Monday, and the couples were spotted on a "double date" on a private boat. Michelle wore a white top with buffing sleeves, while Amal opted for a pink and orange Gucci dress. Meanwhile, Barack and George wore suits. It is believed that the four were on their way to dinner and charity for The Clooney Foundation for Justice.

In addition, it is believed that the daughters of the Obamas, Sasha, 18, and Malia, 20, were also present, although the girls have not been captured in any of the photos. However, they were seen in the south of France with the family during this vacation.

It is noteworthy that Barack and George are longtime friends, even before Obama was elected president in 2008. According to the ET, the two had already worked together, helping people in Darfur while Barack was a senator.
