For multimillionaires, the sky, nor the water is the limit. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to drive a Bugatti in the ocean? That's right, the manufacturers of Bugatti La Voiture Noire - the most expensive car in the world - decided to take on a new challenge and have come up with a brand new design, proving that the sculptural style, speed and excellent performance of the brand can work in water as well.
The boat looks like an F1 racing car, but only is floating - and this is no coincidence. Salome, the name of the project, was inspired by what is considered the most beautiful vehicle of all time, the Bugatti Type 57SC. The result is not only excellent aerodynamic aesthetics but also increased stability.
The 39 ft (12 m) boat will be powered by 440 hp dual Volvo engines, with speeds between 55 and 60 knots, and will feature several additional features. Although still a concept, it seems that the Atlantic won't be that far of a distance anymore. Salome expects to have 12 copies ready for the 2020 Monaco Yacht Show. The project has no prices available yet.
