How did you start your career?
I was scouted at 16 years old by the renowned designer Valentina Vidrascu. I did a lot of shows for her and she prepared me for the international modeling. Since then I had modeling contracts all over the world like Paris, Milan, Berlin, Beijing ,Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Jakarta and many others.
Did you expect a successful career like you had when you started?
I did not. I realized by working hard and having the right attitude everything is possible. I would not expect to have an international success. I am now based in Dubai. This city is great as it is the main fashion hub in Middle East. I continue to work with high fashion brands and I feel blessed to be able to do so.
You worked with so many great photographers and designers, what is the project you are most proud of?
I had many great jobs, but the one I really remembered and enjoyed was the opening of the 5 days Bulgari show in Louvre Abu Dhabi. The team, location and the whole atmosphere was amazing . I love working with Bulgari, it is like my family. I am very thankful and proud for the opportunity to have worked with the best designers and brands in the fashion industry.
How do you maintain in shape?
I am really lucky with my genetics I eat whatever I want, but still while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I always go for fresh and organic products. Sport plays an important role in my life. Whenever I go somewhere for work or vacation I always find few days for either hiking, running, yoga or pilates. Going on multi day hikes in the nature is as well one of my favorite activity.
What is your skincare routine?
As during the shows and photoshoots I have to wear a lot of makeup, whenever I get a chance I’m going for a light cream with an SPF only. It is very important for the skin to be properly cleansed after makeup in order to avoid any issues.
Do you see yourself as a commercial or fashion model?
Definitely fashion as I am quite tall (179 cm) and fit in models’ parameters 83-59-89. Fashion shows, editorials and campaigns are my strength.
Being a model was your dream?
Certainly yes! Since I was a little girl, wherever was a camera I was jumping in to take pictures.
How do you see your achievements as a model in next 5 years?
I am very happy with my modeling achievements. I would like to maintain a close work relationship as I have had until now with reputable brands. Furthermore, I see myself continuing sparkling on the international fashion weeks!
Anything you would like to share with the girls that want to become a model?
Confidence is the number one advise, always be yourself, show your best attitude and personality, be friendly, nice, pursue your dreams and goals!
