The World's Richest Singers Happen to Be Some of Your Favorites

Aren't you just a little bit curious?

Greetings, friends. This is a weird time to be alive, isn’t it? We agree. Anyway, let’s get back to our topic. Because everyone loves to learn a bit more about the most popular and successful musicians, we’ve taken a deep dive into some of the richest singers in the world and compiled a fun list. The list is in no particular order and is by no means the top ten richest singers (although some of the actual top ten are featured here), but it includes ten of today’s wealthiest musical artists, for your enjoyment.

My personal favorite power couple, first on our richest singers list is the wondrous duo that is Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Unsurprisingly for a duo that releases wildly successful music both together and separately while also working on side projects like Ivy Park and Tidal, the pair have a reported collective net worth of $1.4 billion (with a B). (Same).

When looking into the richest singers, you'll learn that their reported net worths are totally different depending on where you look. Ed Sheeran supposedly has a net worth of $110 million, but according to Forbes, his earnings from last year alone were $110 million. Let's just say he's doing pretty well for himself.

Rih herself is next on our richest singers list. With a net worth of $600 million, Rihanna is the world’s richest female musician. Rihanna’s fortune comes from her music career as well as her involvement in beauty and fashion, including her Fenty Beauty line. All hail Queen Rih, even if we're *still* waiting on the release of R9.

Ah, Kanye. Last summer, he was estimated to have a net worth of $240 million, pre-Jesus Is King. Forbes said he made $150 million in 2019 alone. He also said that he showed Forbes an $890 million receipt and they still wouldn’t call him a billionaire, so, do with that information what you will. But something tells us that regardless of how the world receives it, North West's budding rap career is in very secure hands.

Justin Timberlake is another one of the world’s richest singers. His potential net worth range is smaller than most others on this list, allegedly being from $230 to $250 million, but that's no small feat. He’s amassed his fortune both from his musical career and from his work as an actor. Good for you, JT.

In 2019, Business Insider called Drake the fifth-richest rapper in the world, with a net worth of $150 million. Other sites now say Drizzy’s bumped up to $170 million. Makes sense, since Drake has been making extremely popular bops, especially in the last few years.

Up next on our richest singers list is P!nk. In 2017, she supposedly had a net worth of $110 million, but now it appears to be about $200 million. Forbes reported that she made $57 million last year, placing her in the top 15 of the world’s top-earning musicians.

The range on what Madonna’s supposed net worth is is pretty drastic, but we know it’s up there since she was only recently dethroned as the highest-paid female musician. Forbes claimed that her net worth as of last summer was $560 million, which checks out if Rihanna hit $600 million. Other sites claim she’s anywhere from there to $850 million, so, yeah.

Next on our richest singers list is Usher. Usher’s cool. Remember when he was mentoring Justin Bieber? Time flies, man. Usher is reported to have a net worth ranging from $180 million to $200 million. Turns out the “U Got it Bad” singer actually has it....pretty good. (I’m sorry).

Last but not least, the final richest singer on this list is the one and only Dr. Dre. One of the wealthiest people on this list, Dr. Dre’s net worth is estimated between $770 and $820 million. In 2018, he was the second-richest figure in hip-hop. As you likely know, he's also the founder of Beats Electronics, an original member of N.W.A., and the person who signed both Eminem and 50 Cent to Interscope Records. Just to name a few.
