In collaboration with the Oscar-nominated actress and winner of a Golden Globe Chloë Sevigny, Chopard supports environmental responsibility by launching the sustainable Green Carpet Collection.
Chopard, the first luxury jewellery and watchmaking house to create an ethical gold chain (extracted from sources of responsible use), announced in Cannes that it commits to sustainability for the rest of its collections.
Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard, said: "Chloë is a worldwide style icon. When I learned that she is really interested in sustainability, I knew she would be the perfect partner for the creation of a special bag by Chopard. The real luxury is knowing the story behind the pieces we use, and I'm glad that Chloë shares this way of thinking and has joined us on the path to sustainable luxury."
Leather, the primary component of this bag, is supplied by a workshop that handles water, energy, and waste responsibly.
The geometrical design was inspired by the fresh look of Chloë Sevigny and the style of the 40s. The material of the bag complies with the principles of monitoring of Eco-Age, an organization founded by Livia Firth.
The Green Carpet Collection bag by Chloë Sevigny and Chopard is redefining the luxury leather manufacturing segment worldwide.
