Paris, February 2019. While Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled her autumn-winter 2019-2020 collection for Dior in the heart of the Rodin Museum, the guests of the show did not miss to notice the newborn bag of the house: the 30 Montaigne . Referring to the legendary address of the brand's workshops, inaugurated on December 16, 1946, and located in an old mansion for which Christian Dior had a real love at first sight, the 30 Montaigne bag is the perfect reflection of the image of the French house. With its retro curves, it comes as well in iconic logotype canvas version as in smooth leather and is hammered with the initials of the designer. An exceptional know-how, which also marks the launch of an exclusive line designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri , also called "30 Montaigne."
Thought as a tribute to the most iconic pieces of the house, the line features a revisited version of the New Look, with the famous Bar jacket associated with a pleated skirt, but also a t-shirt "J'Adior", slingbacks and sneakers with a houndstooth print, or the now famous Book Tote bag, all in black and white only. True symbol of the French elegance dear to Mr. Dior, the line has been reinterpreted according to the unique vision of the artistic director of the house. A timeless collection to discover in a selection of Dior boutiques.
