For the pre-fall 2019 campaign, Alessandro Michele, Artistic Director of Gucci, revisits the ruined temples of the Selinunte Archaeological Park in Sicily. In the images, archetypal characters from Venice Beach such as hardcore punks, skaters, bodybuilders, and surfers are photographed as a counterpoint to an ancient Greek city from the 7th century BC.
The pieces in the collection include velvet blazers, ornamented skirts and tops, and a variety of typical 1970s monogrammed pants.
