Alessandro Michele likes to cross borders and in his narrative for spring / summer 2020 would be no different! To this end, it entrusted the award-winning Yorgos Lanthimos with the mission to do so visually. In the images, the viewer is invited to unveil the plot, each look will reveal a different interpretation, and that's fine!
The horse stands out in its trajectory and, as the true symbol of freedom there could be no better choice to represent its collection, which showed the power of fashion to break the cage of rules with self-determination of personal style.
On the other hand, you may simply remember Yorgos's The Lobster, where characters unable to find a new life partner are forever transformed into their favorite characters. Was the horse then a member of the family?
The interpretations are endless! It can be just a pet, or a reminder of Gucci's equestrian DNA. What was your interpretation of the plot?
