“What if women ruled the world?” Dior's Spring-Summer 2020 Haute Couture collection brought a powerful feminist message. For that, Maria Grazia Chiuri joined Judy Chicago and created a real show, which brought a mystical universe and breathtaking productions.
Women like neo-goddess, with silhouettes similar to Greek-Roman peplums, costumes known for the way they sculpt the body. Alongside this, Maria Grazia also paid tribute to elements of nature, such as a true ode to femininity.
The collection was marked by the use of gold, fringes, pieces full of movement and stunning accessories.
This dress required 1,500 hours of work and 7 people. 7 different laces in three different colors were applied, in addition to 140 meters of lace.
The dress below with pleats, straps and cape, made of silk chiffon, took 600 hours of work. One person was responsible for creating this powerful model, with 40 meters of fabric.
