The more things change, the more they stay the same. And change has certainly been in the air at the opulent Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo: house, following rumors of sale from majority stakeholders, they’re also bringing back their unisex fragrance collection, as reported by WWD.
‘Tuscan Creations’ is the brand’s move to capitalize on the ever-expanding niche fragrance movement, joining the likes of Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen, each of whom have released their own niche fragrances. And as the collection plays on the label’s rich Italian heritage, the names all fittingly evoke Tuscany and the cultural significance of the region. La Commedia, for example, clearly references the Florentine writer Dante; La Corte pays homage to the courtyards in Florence’s renaissance mansions.
And as if the hyper-luxe reboot couldn’t get any better, it’s coming out just in time for the Holidays with a global release set for next month. Available in eleven different scents, there’s sure to be a bottle set to please everyone. Watch this space for updates.
