The film "Two Popes" with Jonathan Pryce as Pope Francis and Anthony Hopkins as Benedict 16 presents the backstage of the church with the two pontiffs facing critical changes in the Vatican. The film, set in Italy, has several scenes in iconic places of the church that, being considered sacred, cannot be filmed.
Thus, these places - primordial for the course of history - had to be produced using the green screen. The film's director, Fernando Meirelles, released a clip showing all the details of the computer graphics construction of the scenes and also wrote: “See how I tricked you in 'Two Papas' kkk”
The changes are startling, ranging from changes in the color of the characters' hair color to look younger to filters that make the image look "older". The movie is still available on the Netflix catalog and is competing in 4 Golden Globe categories!
