Enter Ombre Nomade, Louis Vuitton’s latest olfactory offering.

Paying homage to lovers of exceptional essences, Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud concocted the new fragrance with perhaps the rarest ingredient of them all: oud wood. The precious wood, which is more valuable than solid gold, was painstakingly sourced from a plantation in Bangladesh where it has been cultivated for centuries.

The Ombre Nomade owes its strong leathery, spicy and woody accents to that special ingredient. The fragrance’s fiery intensity is quelled by a soothing mixture of raspberry, rose, rosat geranium and benzoin — all of which is housed in a gorgeous bottle that bears a hot-stamped label in gold-finished metal.

Consider your search for scented perfection over.

Ombre Nomade launches on August 4 at Louis Vuitton stores and on louisvuitton.com, with prices starting from $370 for a 100ml bottle.
