The 1,200 square meter house was built for a French industrialist, Pierre Bernard, and consists of an indoor hall, a panoramic lounge, an open-air theater with 500 seats, 10 bedrooms, several swimming pools and waterfalls in extensive landscaped grounds. After Bernard's death in 1991, the house was bought by Pierre Cardin. The ten bedrooms have been decorated by a different artist, including Patrice Breteau , Jerome Tisserand , Daniel You , François Chauvin and Gerard Cloarec.

A five-year renovation by French architect Odile Decq was completed in 2016. In March 2017, the pink palace was put up for sale for an asking price of 350 million euros. Le Palais Bulles is unfortunately still a private property and cannot be visited. We secretly hope that this will change soon. In anticipation, we already offer a virtual tour of the most beautiful, futuristic-looking house on the French Côte d'Azur.
