The fashion house Saint Laurent has presented a capsule collection inspired by fragments of works by the American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The line was created exclusively for the Saint Laurent Rive Droite concept boutiques in Paris and Los Angeles.
The collection, inspired by the artist's work, includes T-shirts, hoodies, backpacks, shoppers and fanny packs, posters, iPhone cases, and vintage-inspired lingerie.
Creative director Anthony Viccarello didn't stop there and designed the Saint Laurent Rive Droite exhibition. Anthony worked on it in conjunction with the Basquait Estate and the Enrico Navarra gallery. The exhibits will include not only Basquiat's work, but Andy Warhol's drawings and silk-screen prints, as well as a denim jacket that was put up for the first ever auction in support of the fight against AIDS.
The Saint Laurent Rive Droite X Jean-Michel Basquait capsule will be available online.
