A New Era Begins at Fendi

Superbly captured by Craig Dean, the portraits amplify the story Kim Jones is writing for Fendi.

A new era at Fendi began last season with the arrival of Kim Jones at the helm of the Maison Romana. His debut announced that the legacy of the house is in good hands and that, a new perspective of the Italian elegance, would flood women's closets.

The fall / winter 2021 ready-to-wear collection campaign is just that, an echo of the first chapter the designer wrote, creatively led by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse. Capturing the essence of the garments in the collection was acclaimed British photographer Craig McDean, whose advertising campaigns shaped the aesthetics of the 1990s.

With the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in the background, each of the images converge the classicism and modernity that make Jones's vision evident: one based on tradition that never stops looking to the future.
