Rihanna Is Officially A Billionaire
As reported by Forbes, her fortune was estimated at US$1.7 billion, second only to US presenter Oprah Winfrey, whose fortune stands at US$2.7 billion. Despite being away from the music world since 2016, when she released her last album "Anti", Rihanna managed to close a series of good deals in the fashion and beauty world. Her makeup and skincare brand, Fenty, became a reference in the industry for offering products that include a greater diversity of skin types. In February 2021, the company was valued at US$1 billion. And just like in beauty, her lingerie partnership with Savage has even put "Victoria's Secret" behind her! Her shows became a real event, bringing together the greatest influencers and models of all times in one place: Bella Hadid, Indya Moore, Paris hilton, Rosalía... Just to name a few!
But of course there were some problems along the way. Earlier this year, Rihanna and LVMH announced that they would shut down the Fenty clothing brand to focus on other projects. The pandemic was brutal with the retail brands and, unfortunately, the star's endeavor did not resist.
